Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Bible for Me: Audio Bible ("Bible for Me," "the app," "we," "us") is built by Hudley Holdings LLC. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: the app has no account, no ads, and no tracking, and your personal content stays on your device or in your own iCloud.

The app, not us, holds your data

Bible for Me does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not run advertising or track you across other apps and websites, and we do not operate servers that collect your personal content. We cannot see what you read, listen to, highlight, or write. The app does record a small set of anonymous usage events, described below, that are never tied to your identity.

Anything you create in the app, including your name (if you choose to enter one), notes, highlights, bookmarks, prayer journal entries, giving records, memorization progress, reading history, and settings, is stored locally on your device.

iCloud sync

If you keep iCloud sync turned on (it can be turned off in Settings), the content listed above is synced through your own private iCloud account so it is available on your other devices and can be restored if you reinstall. This uses Apple's iCloud and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. The data lives in your private iCloud storage. We do not have access to it and cannot read it.

In-app purchases

Bible for Me offers an optional upgrade, Bible for Me Plus, sold as a one-time purchase or a yearly subscription. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment information. Apple processes the transaction and tells the app whether the upgrade is active. Subscriptions renew automatically through your Apple account until you cancel, which you can do anytime in your App Store settings. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Audio narration

Spoken chapters are delivered as on-demand audio packs hosted by Apple. The first time you play a chapter with a given narrator, its audio downloads to your device through Apple's content delivery. After that, it plays offline. This download is a normal request to Apple's servers and does not include any personal information about you.

Location and the optional church finder

The app includes an optional "Find a Church" feature. If, and only if, you tap to search near you, the app asks for permission to use your location once. Your location is passed to Apple Maps to run that single search and show nearby results. Your location is not stored by the app, not logged, and not shared with anyone other than Apple Maps for the purpose of running your search. You can also search by typing a city instead, in which case no device location is used. If you deny location access, the rest of the app works normally.

Anonymous analytics and purchase records

To understand whether the app works well and whether people find the upgrade useful, the app sends a small number of anonymous usage events (for example, "onboarding started" or "paywall viewed") to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. These events are identified only by a random identifier, are not linked to your name, email, or any account (the app has none), and are never used to track you across other apps or websites. TelemetryDeck does not receive the content of anything you read, listen to, or write.

When you buy Bible for Me Plus, the app confirms the purchase with RevenueCat, a service that validates App Store receipts and tells the app whether your upgrade is active. This involves an anonymous purchase record (product, price, and subscription status), never your payment details, which only Apple has. If you arrived from an Apple Search Ads ad, the app may receive an anonymous attribution token from Apple that tells us the ad campaign worked. This token does not identify you and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

Information we do not collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers, and the anonymous events above are never linked to your identity. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have it. The app contains no advertising and no cross-app tracking software.

Aggregated App Store data

Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated statistics through App Store Connect, such as total download counts or crash reports, if you have opted to share diagnostics with developers in your device settings. This information is not tied to your identity and cannot be used to identify you.

Children's privacy

Bible for Me does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app contains no ads, no tracking, and no account system.

Your control and deletion

Because your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud, you are in full control of it. You can edit or delete your notes, prayers, and other content within the app at any time. Deleting the app removes its on-device data. To remove synced data, delete the app's data from your iCloud storage in your device settings, or turn off iCloud sync and clear it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and post the revised version at this address. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
